Return Policy

PRODUCT RETURN/REPLACEMENT

REQUIREMENTS FOR A VALID RETURN

  • The product is returned within three (3) days (if customer resides in Lagos) and (5) days (if customer resides outside Lagos) from the delivery date.
  • The item is in a condition as it was delivered.
  • The item is in its ORIGINAL packaging, with all accessories intact including warranty cards, manuals, certificates of authenticity, tags, etc. all must be unopened with seals intact.
  • If the item came with a free promotional item, then the promotional item must also be returned intact.
  • The product to be returned is accompanied with a completed product RETURN FORM
  • It is not a part of the list of exceptions (see below).
  • - The reason for return is due to customer inflicted damage (water damage, mechanical damage etc.)
    - Customer decides to change device after the 3 days period with no reason of fault of product.
    Note: All returned items that are not accompanied by a completed copy of our return form will be automatically declined and, may be sent back. Download new form here if you lost the one sent with the package.

RETURN PROCESS
  • Contact AIRTEL Customer Service team to arrange a for product pick-up.
    Please state your order number, product imei number the item(s) you would like to return, the reason (see below) and your preference in regards to voucher refund or bank refund. In case of bank refund, thank you for providing your full bank details.
  • AIRTEL will arrange for retrieval or, in case we do not serve yourarea in the event that your location is not served directly, we will give you the necessary details to send the item back to us with our logistic partner ErrandEx. The shipping cost may be reimbursed (if any incurred) in case your return is valid
  • Upon arrival in our warehouse, we will conduct a quality check of the item. If a return is deemed invalid {no fault(s) detected} then we will notify you and send the item(s) back to you at our convenience (2-7 days)
  • After all requirement are met, we will proceed with refund.
  • Note: We will not accept returns for defective items after 7 days after delivery. Should you detect any defect with the product and the time frame for returns has elapsed, please contact AIRTEL so Item can be treated under the manufacturer’s warranty policy on basis of warranty.

REASONS FOR RETURN
When selecting the reason for return on the Return form, please be guided by the following table:

DOA     Dead on Arrival - Device does not come on at first power on process.

  • The refund will be processed after completion of return evaluation.We have completed evaluating your return.
  • In order to make the process as fast as possible, we will refund you via a voucher that can be used only on Airtel’s website this voucher is valid for six months. Refund shall be by way of credit vouchers redeemable only on Airtel websites.
  • Should you prefer a cash refund, wish for another refund method, please indicate it on the product return form including all your with bank details.

Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment has been made, that order cannot be cancelled and/or modified.

 

INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify us, our affiliates, officers, directors, agents and/or employees, as the case may be, free from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, related to your breach of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be interpreted and governed by the laws in force in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Subject to the Arbitration section below, each party hereby agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria and to waive any objections based upon venue.

 

ARBITRATION

Any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions of Sale will be referred to and finally settled by private and confidential binding arbitration before a single arbitrator held in Nigeria in English and governed by Nigeria law pursuant to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act Cap A18 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, as amended, replaced or re-enacted from time to time.

The arbitrator shall be a person who is legally trained and who has experience in the information technology field in Nigeria and is independent of either party. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Site reserves the right to pursue the protection of intellectual property rights and confidential information through injunctive or other equitable relief through the courts.

 

SEVERABILITY

If any portion of these Terms or Conditions of Sale is held by any court or tribunal to be invalid or unenforceable, either in whole or in part, then that part shall be severed from these Terms and Conditions of Sale and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other section listed in this document.

 

MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Assigning or sub-contracting any of your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions of Sale to any third party is prohibited unless agreed upon in writing by the seller. We reserve the right to transfer, assign or sub-contract the benefit of the whole or part of any rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions of Sale to any third party.
